FAQFrequently asked questions

Which slips can JaiJod read?

Transfer slips from most Thai banking apps and receipts from some e-wallets, as screenshots or photos. The app reads the amount, recipient, date and reference, and you can review and edit every field before saving.

What do I need to run it?

An iPhone with iOS 18 or later (reading Thai text on slips requires iOS 18).

Where are my expense records stored?

On your device. JaiJod does not sync expense records to a server, so deleting the app deletes them too. Export a CSV backup at Settings → Export Data.

Can I use it without an account?

Yes. Choose “Continue as Guest” on the first screen — no personal details needed (an anonymous user ID is created). The app will offer to link a Google or Apple account later.

How do I delete my account and data?
  1. Open the app → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
  2. Confirm (Google and Apple accounts ask you to sign in again).

This deletes your account, profile, Feedback and any images attached to it, plus personal data on the device. If you no longer have the app, email chatchai@imake.co.th to request deletion.

Why does the app ask for photo library access?

To find slips in your photo library and help you import them as expenses; all reading happens on device. You can allow access to selected photos only, or decline and use the camera or manual entry instead. Change this any time in iOS Settings.

How do I change the app language?

Settings → Language, then choose ภาษาไทย or English.

Is JaiJod connected to a bank?

No. JaiJod does not connect to bank accounts, never asks for banking credentials, and does not provide financial services. It only reads images you choose, on your device, to help you log expenses.
